I think this book has taught me something

I feel

enlightened.

I see people hatin' on religious people, they bash them for believing stuff.

Maybe it's because I'm religious myself that I see that more than a situation with reversed roles.

But… in this book, a religious man says "We are brothers and sisters of different faiths" of Theists and Atheists.

When someone is speaking of their beliefs, "God is my salvation" or say someone going "I don't need to believe in a higher power to be happy"

that is not offending or persecuting anyone! They are just stating that they are happy with their beliefs and understanding of the world through those beliefs!

Why can't people just… respect these beliefs! Theist or Atheist, you hold your beliefs very dear to you. So why can't we just… oh man, I don't know…

I'm just tired of people justifying their bashing and hateful words towards another group of people by bunching them together or just because they don't agree.

I don't like raspberries all that much! Does that mean I have to go and verbally beat the shit out of people who do like them? No!

I'm just tired of people ugh.
